This is a Physical Works contract for Hawkes Bay Foam Bitumen Cyclone Recovery Works.
Accelerated deterioration caused by Cyclone Gabrielle has necessitated an action to restore network resilience and maintain critical transport links in the region.
The project comprises construction works and the delivery of Foam Bitumen Stabilisation at identified locations along Hawke’s Bay State Highway 5 (SH5) and State Highway 2 (SH2), collectively covering approximately 6.4 kilometres of pavement renewal works.

The Contract Works comprise of:

• Earthworks
• Pavement and Surfacing
• Temporary Traffic Management
• Robust Quality Assurance
