Overview

The contract includes the physical works required to implement the Silverdale bus shoulder running project. The project extends for 2.5km from the Wilks Road overbridge to the Hibiscus coast highway off ramp on the northern motorway.
The works include:
• Widening the northbound carriageway by approximately 2.5m.
• Construction of two gravity block retaining walls.
• Drainage relocation.
• ITS infrastructure installation and relocation.
• Installation of roadside barriers.
• Temporary works.
• Steet light relocation.
• Temporary traffic management
