This is a Physical Works contract for SH76 Brougham Street Bridge (Package 1). This contract works is for Package 1 of an upgrade to the Brougham Street in Christchurch. This includes the construction of a pedestrian and cycle bridge connecting Simeon Street and Collins Street.

Only tenderers pre-qualified to level A or B across Surfacing; Bridge Construction; and Construction under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.

Please note: This is a two-stage selection process. Stage 1 of the evaluation process i.e., shortlisting has been completed. This GETS Advert marks commencement of Stage 2 of the evaluation process. Applicants who have been shortlisted will now progress to Stage 2.

The main Tender document continues to serve the purpose for Stage 2, containing all necessary information and requirements. All supplementary reference documents were already made available through the SharePoint link, with no new documents currently added to the link. Please note: Individual Tender interactive meetings will take place on Friday 30 May 2025, in person, in Christchurch on NZTA premises. Tenderers are requested to send their agenda by Wednesday 28 May 2025, 2pm.

Similar to Stage 1, all tender queries (formal Q&A) are to be submitted through the GETS Questions and Answers portal. Any queries that fall outside of formal Q&A and require urgent attention must be directed to tender@nzta.govt.nz email.

All responses to tender questions/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the GETS addenda.

Tender submissions shall be uploaded to GETS eTender box as per instructions stated in the main Tender document.

The GETS file upload limit is 50MB.
