This is a Physical Works contract for SH76 Brougham Street - Bridge This contract works is part of an upgrade to the Brougham Street in Christchurch and includes the construction of a pedestrian and cycle bridge connecting Simeon Street and Collins Street.
Key elements of the Contract Works include the construction of the bridge and associated architectural details including foundations, utility diversions, earthworks, site clearance, shared path construction, pavement and surfacing, temporary traffic signals, improved pedestrian and cyclist facilities, drainage, barriers, street lighting, signage and line marking, and landscaping.
This RFT is an invitation to suppliers who registered their interest through the earlier Registration of Interest (ROI) process for this contract.
Only tenderers pre-qualified to level A or B across Surfacing; Bridge Construction; and Construction under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.
Please note: This is a two-stage procurement process. Stage 1 will consist of a shortlisting process. Following evaluation of Stage 1, shortlisted suppliers only will be invited to submit a tender for the Contract works as part of Stage 2 RFT.

Stage 1 Shortlisting stage will close on Tuesday 20 May.
A group inception meeting will be held online on Friday 9 May between 1 and 2pm.

Appendices are available for reference via a SharePoint Link. Tenderers are required to provide email ID of the relevant individual in their organisation to NZTA’s Point of Contact (email: tender@nzta.govt.nz) to whom the SharePoint access will be granted.
All tender communications are to be submitted through the GETS Questions and Answers portal.
All responses to tender questions/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the GETS addenda.
Tender submissions shall be uploaded to GETS eTender box as per instructions stated in the main Tender document.
The GETS file upload limit is 50MB.
