Overview

Waka Kotahi wishes to enter into a contractual agreement with a competent and capable supplier who has the specialist knowledge and expertise to assess and replenish emergency equipment (Civil Defence equipment) and emergency water at each of our corporate offices, to meet our agency safety and business continuity obligations.

This includes:

- Emergency equipment replenishment: regular checks and stock replenishment, assessment of quantities to meet business requirements, programmed replenishment of perishable or end of life items

- Emergency water replenishment: completed every 8 – 10 months, ensuring sustainability, checks on serviceability of containers

- Ad hoc emergency supplier equipment orders, as required by Waka Kotahi (eg to meet changes to our corporate office requirements or locations, in response to any external environmental factors, etc)

- Reporting: regular reporting including record of sales and purchases, record of emergency water replenishments, record of perishable / limited life items, to aid in budgeting and resourcing requirements

- National coverage: the supplier must be able to service all our corporate offices across Aotearoa

This RFP process will be ‘presentation based’ and run using the ‘procurement in a day’ method. Presentations will be conducted virtually using Microsoft teams.
