Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from contractors experienced in the construction of Transportation Infrastructure Assets.
Contractor will be required to be prequalified with Waka Kotahi to the following minimum classification:
• Routine and Minor Works – Level C (1C), or
• Construction – Level C (4C).
The Coromandel Peninsular and surrounding region has been servery effected by Cyclone Gabriel and Waka Kotahi seek experienced contractors to assist in the repair works and resilience works as a result of the cyclone.
Specific scope elements include:
• Rock filled embankment installation.
• Drilled pile retaining walls installation, (steel pile and timber piles).
• Sheet pile retaining wall installation.
• Mechanically Stabilised Earth, (MSE), and gravity retaining walls.
• Ground anchor system installation and the application of shotcrete
• Installation of inclined bored drains.
• Large and small culvert installation and associated drainage infrastructure.
• Installation of insitu kerb and channel, concrete dish channel and general concrete placement.
ROI involves submitting a single A4 cover letter and capability statement, in response to this advertisement. The letter is to advise company/consortium and contact details.
The capability statement is to include the company/consortium relevant experience on 2 related projects to demonstrate relevant experience and track record. Details of relevant projects shall include the following information:
1. Project Name
2. Client
3. Scope of works
4. Cost of works, as tendered and at completion
5. Construction period as tendered and at completion.
Final tendering of the contract will be by invitation to contractors registered through this ROI process.
ROI submissions are to be uploaded to the GETS eTender box in a single file (pdf format)
