Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is a significant, multiyear partnership between iwi Taranaki Whānui ki Te Upoko o Te Ika and Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Hutt City Council, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, AECOM and Fletcher Construction. The purpose of Te Awa Kairangi project is to collaboratively transform Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai - Lower Hutt by providing better flood protection, enable urban growth and improve transport safety and connections in central Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai - Lower Hutt and around the Melling Interchange.
While the Alliance has the means to deliver key portions of the work, one of our key objectives is to develop a Healthy and Sustainable Supplier Market. To achieve this, the Alliance would like to invite subcontractors and suppliers interested in participating in the project to attend a project briefing, and subsequently submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) for the scope of work they are interested in.
Te Awa Kairangi Alliance will need subcontractors, subconsultants and suppliers support for the scope elements outlined in the table the attached document.
Te Awa Kairangi Alliance invites contractors and suppliers to join us for an online briefing on Thursday 27th July 2023 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Please register your interest via this link https://forms.office.com/r/YdZX7YCNLS
The briefing will be held via MS Teams and led by members of the Te Awa Kairangi Leadership team.
Please note, the briefing invite is limited to a maximum of two representatives per company.
On Friday 28th July 2023, we will open our Registration of Interest period for those interested in being considered as a supplier to the Alliance.
Following the ROI process, Te Awa Kairangi Alliance will then engage with organisations to participate in the project pricing phases.
