The New Zealand transport sector is investing in an asset management data standard
(AMDS). AMDS is a common language that describes the service, impact and asset
lifecycle across the transport system and partners. It will be adopted by all Road
Controlling Authorities (local government and Waka Kotahi) over the next six years. For

To support the implementation of AMDS Waka Kotahi is undertaking a market scan to
establish a supplier list for the following technical and integration capabilities: project
management, business analysis, data analysis, data migration, systems integration
analysis and system integration implementation.
The supplier list will be made available to all RCAs. It is designed help them source the
required capabilities to implement AMDS within their organisation. Appointments will not
be made from this list. RCAs will follow their own procurement process to engage
resources.
