Overview:
This Advance Notice of Information (NOI) is to provide project information ahead of the tender which will be advertised separately on the 1st week of October 2021.
The duration of the tender will be 4 weeks from the day of advertisement.
It is provided as an early indication only of the project scope and will not form part of any future tender documents or contract documents.
The SH30 Eastern Corridor Stage Two – Phase One Project consist of upgrades between Iles Road and Coulter Road focus on addressing the immediate needs and supporting planned housing development near Wharenui Road.
This includes upgrades to intersections at Basley, Ōwhata and Wharenui roads, a shared path and on-road cycle lane from Iles Road to Coulter Road, four-laning between Iles and Basley roads and Brent and Owhata roads, as well as safety improvements.
Key points are:
1. Ability to work in an ECI environment
2. Contractor must be prequalified to Construction Level 4A
3. Ability to manage a project of this scale and technical knowledge of undergrounding services and pavement rehabilitation
4. Ability to minimise disruption though best practice methods and deliver on time against set Crown Infrastructure Partners (CIP) requirements
5. Ability to achieve the broader community outcomes
