Overview
SH1 P2J is a single physical works measure and value contract with two separable civil and ITS portions.
The ITS portion involves ITS infrastructure including new LCS, VMSS, Camera, Loop Vehicle Detection and underlying communications/power infrastructure successfully installed, commissioned and under the control of Wellington Traffic Operations Centre (WTOC) no later than 30 June 2021.
The civil portion involves a 650-metre extension to the third southbound merge lane from the Transmission Gully interchange, to be completed by 31 August 2021.
