The NZ Transport Agency recently entered into an Interim Alliance Agreement with Fulton Hogan and HEB Construction to form an Alliance to maintain the Auckland State Highway network from 1st July 2019. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland road network.
Pressure on Auckland’s transport system will continue to increase over the next decade and the maintenance and operation of the State Highway network will play a critical role in the movement of people and freight.
The Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance is seeking registrations of interest (ROI) from separate professional services suppliers with the capability to work collaboratively within the Alliance and with other suppliers to deliver the Alliance’s objectives. This precludes joint ventures, consortia or any other exclusive supply agreement with other contractors or professional services suppliers.
The Alliance requires a broad range of services including traditional network and asset management as well as services that support improved management of congestion and enhancing customer experience.
The broad scope of professional services includes:
• Asset Management (pavement, stormwater, structures, tunnels, ITS etc)
• Network Performance (including optimisation)
• Traffic Management Coordination
• Network Safety
• Information / data management
• Network Engineering
• HPMV Permitting
• Transport Technology
• Customer insight
• Congestion Management
An industry engagement session will be held at 10.30am, Wednesday 27th February 2019 at Tower 1, Level 4, 205 Queen Street, Auckland.
Following registration of interest, the ASM Alliance will advise on the next stages of the procurement process.
A ROI submission must contain the following information:
a) Company name;
b) Company contact details
The ROI should be uploaded to the GETS eTender box which involves submitting a single file (pdf format) A4 page letter, in response to this advertisement. The GETS file upload limit is 50 MB. The file should be labelled as: ‘Contract No 2019069 ROI ASM Alliance – Professional Services’.
