Overview

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking information about potential charging infrastructure solutions to support a nationwide rollout of 41 electric vehicles across its fleet.

This RFI is for information only and will not be used to select or shortlist suppliers. This is to gather market intelligence to inform the approach that the Agency will take to procuring charging products and services. There will be no evaluation conducted on the information provided, and this RFI is not to be construed as representing or creating any binding obligation on the Agency to enter into any legal commitment.

The information gathered through this RFI will be used to inform Transport Agency’s understanding of the range and availability of potential solutions to meet the Business Requirement including:
a. the range and availability of infrastructure solutions;
b. scope of software to optimise use of the hardware;
c. the installation and operational process;
d. the size and nature of the market;
e. options for procuring a potential solution; and
f. factors to be considered when procuring a solution.

Suppliers responding or intending to respond to this RFI are referred to as Participants in this RFI.

This is an open invitation to Participants released through the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS).
