Overview

The NZ Transport Agency invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors wishing to tender for this contract (CN4410).

In April 2017, four slips occurred on SH15 between RP27/10.884 and RP22/8.856. These slips are on the north and south side of the Twin Bridges next to Mangakahia River. This contract has two separable portions as follows:
* Site 1 slip repair is a 32m long tied back timber pole wall embedded into unweathered basalt;
* Site 2 slip repair is a 12m long timber pole wall embedded 2m into unweathered basalt;
* Site 3 slip repair is a 24m timber pole wall embedded 2m into unweathered basalt

Separable portion 2 is provisional and is for the repair of the site 4 at RP22/8.856. The NZTA is currently seeking funding for this site based on a preliminary design. The preliminary design is a 15m long tied back timber pole wall embedded 2m into unweathered basalt. The Works will be carried out under the NZTA's traditional 'Measure and Value' contract conditions.

The contract period is 40 working days from possession of site of Separable Portion 1 and 20 working days from possession of site of Separable Portion 2.

Under the terms of the Highways and Network Operations (HNO) Prequalification System, only those qualified to 4C and 2D are eligible to submit a tender.

Tenders however will be evaluated using lowest price conforming with the following attributes:
* Track Record
* Relevant Skills
* Methodology
