This is a Physical Works contract for the re-decking of the SH1 Waihohonu Bridge, at Route Position 777/5.91 and BSN 7829. The bridge is located on the Desert Road.

Only Tenderers pre-qualified to Bridge Construction Level 3A under the terms of the Highways and Network Operations (HNO) Prequalification System will be eligible to submit a tender.

The Contract Works comprise removal of the existing concrete deck panels, and construction of a composite deck slab and associated bridge furniture.
