The NZ Transport Agency (the Agency) is seeking registrations of interest from prequalified and experienced consortia to deliver the design and construction of the Northern Corridor Improvements (NCI) Project under a Hybrid Competitive Alliance model. Consortia will require 2A, 3A, and 4A prequalification levels.

This project is part of the Auckland Accelerated Programme, which also comprises the East West Connection, Southern Corridor and Airport Access. The project scope is likely to include the following:

- North and West Motorway Interchange connections - SH1/SH18;
- State highway capacity and safety improvements;
- Northern busway extension from Constellation Station and connection to Albany Station;
- Reconfiguration of Constellation Station converting it from a terminus station to a dual direction station;
- Shared Use Path (SUP) provision along existing SH1 and SH18 routes for the full extent of the Project corridor:
- Constellation Station to Oteha Valley Road
- Constellation Drive to Albany Highway
- Intermediate linkages to local network.
- New bus station between Constellation and Albany;
The Transport Agency intends entering into an Alliance agreement with the successful consortia to deliver the project on a shared risk basis.

Constructors and designers are invited to form consortia and register their interest to deliver the project by submitting a written one page letter in response to this advertisement with a schedule of company/consortium members and their proposed area of operations, and a single point of contact.
