The NZ Transport Agency invites Tenders from pre-qualified and experienced contractors wishing to tender for the SH1N Hautapu Slip Repair project.

The Works will be carried out under the NZTA’s traditional ‘Measure and Value’ contract.

This contract is for the reinstatement of a 50m long section of State Highway 1 near Hautapu Road (SH1N RP 198/5.3) that has been damaged by an underslip.

The works include, but are not limited to, the construction of a 2m high tied-back gabion wall on a reinforced concrete pad; vertical and raked dowels; slope stabilised with rock dowels and timber pole walers; horizontal bored drains; pavement reconstruction; and chipseal surfacing.

In accordance with the Prequalification for Physical Works, Contractors who are pre-qualified to levels 4A, 4B and 4C are eligible to submit a tender.
