1. The NZ Transport Agency invites Registration of Interest (ROI) from NZ Transport Agency pre-qualified experienced contractors including joint ventures wishing to tender for the Central Otago Network Outcome Contract (NOC) as a primary supplier.
2. This is a new roading maintenance contract for network maintenance and management services to be let under NZ Transport Agency's Network Outcomes Contract delivery model. This contract will have a tenure of 7+1+1 years with a mix of lump sum and measure and value scheduled items.
3. The contract area comprises 537 km of state highways in the Central Otago region.
4. It is envisaged that the Network Outcome Contracts will be awarded early July 2016, with physical works commencing 1 October 2016.
5. This contract will require a minimum of 20% of the works to be sub-contracted.
6. Only contractors who are NZ Transport Agency level A prequalified in one of the four prequalification categories (1A, 2A, 3A, or 4A), and either themselves or together with a proposed subcontractor are prequalified to level A in surfacing (2A), are eligible to submit a ROI.
7. ROI submission closes at 4.00pm Tuesday 15th March 2016.
8. ROI involves submitting a single A4 page letter with a heading: 'Contract PW O217/01 Network Outcomes Contract Central Otago Region' advising:
a. Company name, or joint venture company names; and
b. Subcontracting company names; and
c. Company contact details; and
d. NZ Transport Agency prequalification status.
9. The tendering stage of the procurement process will be by invitation only to contractors or joint ventures registered through this ROI process. The tender will not be advertised publicly.
