Tenders are invited for this contract from contractors prequalified to Level 1C and 2C.

The contract involves safety improvement work at Mangatuna on State Highway 35.

The major components of the contract are:

- Earthworks
- Drainage and pavement work
- Retaining walls
- Associated traffic services.

The works also include all establishment, traffic management, quality assurance testing, and survey.
