1. The NZ Transport Agency invites Registration of Interest (ROI) from NZ Transport Agency pre-qualified experienced contractors and consortia wishing to tender for the Southland Region network outcome contracts as a primary supplier.
2. This is a new roading maintenance contract to be let under NZ Transport Agency’s network outcomes contract delivery model. This contract will have a tenure of 5+1+1 years with a mix of lump sum and measure and value scheduled items.
3. The contract areas cover State highways in the Southland region, (674.5km’s).
4. It is envisaged that the network outcome contract will be awarded in mid-September 2015 with physical works commencing 1 March 2016
5. This contract will require a minimum of 24% of the works to be sub-contracted.
6. Only contractors or consortia who hold a NZ Transport Agency level A prequalification in one of the four prequalification categories, and that have, or have within their consortia, a 2A surfacing prequalification are able to submit a ROI.
7. ROI submission closes at 4.00pm Thursday 28th May 2015.
8. ROI involves submitting a single A4 page letter with a heading: ‘Network Outcomes Contract Southland Region’ advising:

1) company / consortium names; and
2) contact details.

9. Future steps of the procurement process will be by invitation to contractors or consortia registered through this ROI process; the contracts will not be re-advertised publicly.
