SH2 Whakaruatapu Stream Bridge and Approaches Reconstruction.
Tenders are invited from experienced Contractors for a 1.66 km realignment of State Highway 2 which includes replacement of the Whakaruatapu Stream Bridge.
The work is located approximately 5 kms north of Dannevirke.
The scope of this contract is to remove the existing bridge and replace it with a multi-plate arch culvert, realign this section of State highway, construct approaches and improve the Tataramoa Rd Intersection with State Highway 2.
The work includes 170,000 m3 of earthworks, 22,000 m2 of pavement work and surfacing, installation of a 6 metre span multi-plate arch culvert 120 m long, stream diversion and protection work.
