Overview

The purpose of this research project is to:
a. identify a best-practice risk assessment methodology for the New Zealand rail industry.
b. carry out an evidence-based risk assessment to identify the priority safety risks to rail operations in New Zealand.
c. identify the optimum mitigations for these priority safety risks.
