NZQA is looking for supplier or suppliers who can conduct independent quality and technical assurance, and quantitative risk analysis for the Strategic Technology Enhancement Project (STEP) work programme over approximately a four-year period. The reviews includes:

i) Independent Quality Assurance (IQA) will be undertaken to review key decision points during the Project.
- To provide ongoing independent assurance that the Project workstreams are being managed in accordance with NZQA’s standards.
- The reviews will be undertaken prior to specific decision points during the Programmes life.
- This provides the SRO with confidence that the expected outcomes and benefits will be achieved.
- To provide independent assurance that the appropriate level of probity has been maintained during the procurement process.

ii) Technical Quality Assurance (TQA) will be undertaken to provide confidence that the technical solution design is fit-for-purpose and will meet the business requirements and enable the benefits to be realised.

iii) Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) will provide a numeric evaluation of the impact of risk on the STEP project goals. It uses statistical tools and mathematical models to assess potential risks associated with the project. Given the specialist nature of this work,
We are seeking proposals from qualified and experienced supplier or suppliers. NZQA will accept the supplier partnering with a third party QRA provider.
