Earth Sciences NZ is seeking proposals from suitably qualified suppliers to provide a modern Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and associated implementation services.
Oracle Fusion will remain Earth Sciences NZ’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. This procurement is for HRIS capability and associated implementation and integration services; it is not seeking a second ERP platform or a replacement for Oracle Fusion. The proposed HRIS must integrate with Oracle Fusion to support the secure and reliable exchange of relevant finance, employee, organisational, cost-centre and approved time data.
This procurement forms part of Earth Sciences NZ’s ongoing organisational integration following the merger of GNS Science and NIWA and supports preparation for the future integration of MetService and the Measurement Standards Laboratory. As the organisation continues to evolve, Earth Sciences NZ requires a scalable, secure and sustainable platform capable of supporting a growing and increasingly diverse workforce.
Earth Sciences NZ currently operates a range of people, payroll, onboarding, reporting and workforce management processes. The organisation is seeking to simplify its operating environment, improve data quality, reduce manual effort and establish a foundation for consistent people and workforce management practices across the organisation.
This procurement is intended to identify a solution that not only meets current operational requirements but also supports future organisational growth, integration of additional entities and evolving business needs.
Earth Sciences NZ has developed a detailed set of business, payroll, technical, security, integration, implementation and operational requirements which are contained within the supporting procurement documentation. Respondents should review this RFP together with the Response Form, Pricing Workbook and Requirements Catalogue when preparing their proposals.
