Overview

Fire and Emergency wish to engage an asbestos specialist to support us with our obligations to manage asbestos materials at our stations, offices, training centres etc. (Locations). We already have Asbestos Management Plans (AMPs) for most of our locations (e.g., structures built before 2000), which need to be re-surveyed, and each location’s plan updated accordingly.
Fire and Emergency wants a single supplier for all the following asbestos specialist services in relation to managing asbestos at their locations:
• Undertake asbestos management (re) surveys.
• Undertake ad-hoc asbestos refurbishment/demolition surveys when required by Fire and Emergency.
• Undertake ad-hoc clearance inspection and certification for licensed asbestos removal work when required by Fire and Emergency.
