Fire and Emergency New Zealand has a panel of Waterway and Hose and Hose Reel tubing suppliers under NP 2588 Equipment Capability Provider Panel. The panel has established a group of suppliers within these two core categories that can meet our minimum subcategory requirements for Nozzles and Monitors, Fitting and Adaptors (including connections and couplings) and Suction Hose.

Under the terms of this agreement, we will conduct a secondary procurement process Request for Quote (RFQ) with all successful provider panel members in the subcategory for Nozzles and Monitors, Fittings and Adaptors (including connections/couplings) and Suction Hose for our specific requirements.
The key objective of this procurement is to identify a provider/s that can provide a ‘basket’ of goods of Waterway and Suction Hose equipment that Fire and Emergency can purchase from on an ongoing basis. The three catalogues required are categorised as:
• Nozzle and Monitors
• Fittings and Adaptors (including connections and couplings)
• Suction hose

This procurement may be awarded to more than one provider for each category (Nozzles and Monitors, Fittings and Adaptors including Connectors and Couplings and Suction Hose). This could mean a combination of several providers offering a ‘basket’ of goods across subcategory’s and/or within each subcategory of the Equipment Capability Provider Panel. This will be at Fire and Emergency’s discretion, based on the outcomes of the desk-top evaluation (including whole-of-life public value).
