In response to this development gap and aligned with our Leadership Development Framework and the recommendations of the Independent Review of Fire and Emergency’s Workplace Culture and Complaint Handling Practices, the Leadership Development Team has designed and piloted a two-day Lead Self workshop.
The Lead Self tier is a level of development for all our people, all of the time and focuses on the development of self-awareness, alignment to values and the adjustment of behaviour accordingly, addressing the following learning outcomes:
• increasing self-awareness as a basis for ongoing personal action
• exploring how our personal values align with Fire and Emergency’s values
• using feedback to understand how we impact others.
The purpose of this engagement is to secure an external facilitator(s) to enable the roll out the Lead Self
workshops nationwide. The preference will be to engage one supplier for services.
