The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) though this RFP document wishes to engage a suitably qualified and experienced main construction contractor to undertake construction and related site works for the new Standfast facility at Trentham Military Camp, including:
i construction of office, workshops and vehicle fitout building,
ii construction of new external deployment field including security fencing
iii installation of mechanical services, including hot water heating and HVAC systems,
iv installation of electrical and lighting systems and compressed air system
v installation of fire protection systems including sprinklers and gas flood system
vi installation of new underground services to connect to existing site-wide services
Tenderers responding to this RFP will need to demonstrate that they have suitable resources and capability to undertake this work. High levels of coordination and control will be required as the work will be undertaken in concert with other separate contractors.
