Registrations of Interest are sought from contractors to carry out modifications to the existing modular plastic pontoon facility located in the Navy Base Boiler Wharf basin of the Royal New Zealand Navy, Devonport, Auckland.
The scope of the project includes the design, construction and installation of a new concrete divers pontoon and associated features, installation of guide piles, removal of existing brow, remedial works, load testing and certification of the existing brow, relocation and refitting the remediated brow to the proposed location and orientation to service the new divers pontoon, removal and disposal of the existing plastic modular pontoon and the removal and disposal of the existing pontoon guide piles.
Contractors who wish to submit registering there interest, are required to provide non-price attributes on Previous Experience, Track Record, relevant Key Personnel, relevant Resources Available, Management Skills and Support, and Health and Safety Record as detailed in the ROI documentation attached to this notice. For those interested, a site visit can be made with prior arrangement with NZDF to meet at the main security gate of Naval Base South Yard, Devonport.
Request for Tender (RFT) will be sent to all shortlisted successful Contractors in February 2017 for submission of methodology and schedule of prices. The proposed physical works are scheduled to be complete by the end of June 2017.
The electronic copy of the completed ROI should be submitted to the Address above, marked "Contract No. Con_13226 - Devonport Naval Base Divers Pontoon Modifications" in the subject area or in a sealed envelope for the tender box delivery option.
