Registrations of Interest are sought from physical works contractors to carry out Cliff Stabilisation works at Naval Base South Yard – Devonport as shown on the site plan.
The scope of works include removal of a tree on the cliff face and loose or loosened blocks on the cliff face, supply and installation of approx. 140nos. rock bolts and 275m2 of galvanised mesh on to the cliff face and construction of 1m high approximately 20m concrete barrier at the base of the cliff to stop rocks running onto the road.
Contractors who wish to submit the registering interest are required to provide non-price attributes on Previous Experience, Relevant Key Personnel, relevant Resources Available, Management Skills and Support, and Health and Safety Record as detailed in the ROI documentation attached to this notice. For those interested, a site visit can be made with a prior arrangement with NZDF to meet at the main security gate of Naval Base South Yard, Devonport.
Request for Tender (RFT) will be sent to all shortlisted successful Contractors in October 2016 for submission of methodology and schedule of prices. The proposed physical works are scheduled to complete by the end of March 2016.
