The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a strategic partner who has the experience and infrastructure to provide Donation Identification Number (DIN) Labels for use within the New Zealand Blood Service (NZBS).
NZBS is seeking a credible and capable provider to supply all our DIN Label requirements to the specification provided. We are looking for a partner that has excellent quality control processes and a robust quality management system.
The donation identification number (‘donation number’), plays a critical role in the safety of the blood supply. It provides a unique identification number which cross-references blood components and samples taken at the time of donation. This donation number is critical in providing traceability throughout our collection, manufacturing and supply chain processes. The quality and accuracy of these labels is invaluable in supporting our business and without DIN labels the Blood Service cannot operate.
