The New Zealand Aid Programme, is inviting submissions for a Works Division Adviser on a two-year in country assignment.

The Works Division adviser will support the Director of Works and all full time staff of the Honiara City Council’s Works Division to meet the following outcomes:
1. Enable the Works Division to effectively and transparently manage annual budgets and finances
2. Increased level of compliance with Works Division legislation, and, health and safety policies and procedures.
3. Increased level of Customer Satisfaction.
4. Enable Senior Management to establish an effective, reliable and high performing work-force within the Works Division.
5. Establish and implement an Asset Management system.

The assignment is for a two-year assignment and the Terms of Reference has been drafted for an individual on a full-time assignment.

MFAT standard contractual Terms and conditions are attached. Please note that Schedule one is written from the Terms of Reference after the completion of any negotiations with a preferred respondent.
