The New Zealand Aid Programme, acting for and on behalf of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is supporting The Niue Public Service Commission in inviting expression of interest/applications from outside of Niue for a Project Coordinator to work at the Niue Education Department, Ministry of Social Services.
The Project Coordinator will report and work under the direct supervision of the Director General, Ministry of Social Services and the Education Support Program Steering Committee (ESPSC).
The main responsibilities around the role will be the delivery of the project outcomes and activities in accordance with the project document and agreed work plan. He/she will coordinate the day-to-day implementation of the Program, coordinate and supervise the implementation of the Program and manage Program resources effectively and efficiently within the established timeframe and available budget.
Applicants ideally should have the following;
• Education: Degree either in Education, Teaching, Resource Management, Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of ten years management experience in implementing development projects an advantage.
• Language: Proficient in both written and oral English.
• Computer skills: Demonstrable skills in office computer use - word processing, spread sheets, etc.
