Vanuatu Strategic Tourism Action Plan

In 2013/14 the New Zealand Government assisted the Government of Vanuatu to develop a sector plan for tourism - the Vanuatu Strategic Tourism Action Plan (VSTAP). This Plan was developed through broad consultation with key stakeholders and recognises the significance of tourism to the economic development of Vanuatu.

The New Zealand Aid Programme is providing support to implement key components of the VSTAP, including funding to assist with the establishment of a VSTAP Implementation Team. The New Zealand Aid Programme, together with the Vanuatu Government now wishes to commence recruitment of two key positions within the Implementation Team, a Team Leader (VSTAP) and a Technical Adviser – Industry Marketing & Communications.
