The New Zealand Aid Programme, acting for and on behalf of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is supporting The Government of Lao PDR in seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to provide consultancy services to the second phase of NZ-LNTA Community Based Tourism for Sustainable Economic Development Programme or Lao Tourism Support Activity Project.
The Government of Lao PDR has received a grant from the Government of New Zealand and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract(s) for consultancy services to the second phase of NZ-LNTA Community Based Tourism for Sustainable Economic Development Programme or Lao Tourism Support Activity Project.
The five year programme requires consultants for the following positions:
1x International Chief Technical Advisor/Technical Tourism Specialist (36 months over 5 years)
1x National Tourism Sector Specialist (30 months over 5 years)
Both consultants will work closely with Project Coordinating Unit staff responsible for the technical and management aspects of the project. The consultant team will provide advisory assistance on the implementation of activities, development of plans and strategies, the project monitoring protocols and technical and financial reporting to the Lao Government and the New Zealand Government.
Interested consultant must provide the following information indicating that he/she is qualified to perform the required services:
Expression of Interest Letter (consultant is required to have at least seven years experience working in the tourism sector)
and, Curriculum Vitae
