The Tuvalu Department of Fisheries (DOF) is inviting submissions of Registration of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of the Tuvalu Fisheries Building at the DOF, Tuvalu.
The project is to assist Tuvalu with the sustainable management of its fisheries resource, the nation’s largest and most important natural resource. This project is supported by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade - New Zealand Aid Programme.
The Contractor will be required to construct a double storey building with an approximate total floor area of 1200 square metres, together with the associated infrastructure upgrades required to support the new building. The contractor will manage all trades including excavation, concrete, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and drainage. The contract will be for turnkey delivery including the provision of various items of furniture, fittings and equipment.
A track record of building construction work in the South Pacific will be a distinct advantage.
Registration of Interest, of no more than 8 pages, must be in Adobe pdf format and less than 5Mb file size. Submissions must include: Company Profile, Relevant Experience, Contractor’s Key Personnel, Availability of Resources, Health & Safety Record and References.
