The New Zealand Antarctic Institute, trading as Antarctica New Zealand, is responsible for maintaining Scott Base, New Zealand's Antarctic research station in the Ross Dependency. The IT servers and associated infrastructure at Scott Base are in need of replacement. This opportunity will include sourcing and configuring the servers for Scott Base. In addition, we will require suppliers to provide either remote support for installation, configuration and commissioning by Antarctica New Zealand's IT staff, or for supplier personnel to carry out those works at Scott Base. The timeline for procurement will support the target of having the new servers commissioned by the end of the 2020/2021 Antarctic summer season around the end of March 2021.
