We are seeking a supplier to manufacture and assemble a living and science support module “Living Module” to be mounted with a sled for use in Antarctica.
Antarctica New Zealand has developed a Traverse Capability; allowing for long distance and duration traverses of the Antarctic continent. The primary functions are to both prove routes over hazardous (crevassed) terrain and move large payloads of fuel and cargo/equipment in support of science projects. The Living Module is a comfortable and functional space as part of the Traverse Capability for living, socialising, domestic, sleeping, hygiene and communications needs; in support of Antarctica New Zealand’s vision to support world-leading deep field science.
