DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT WORKS
This Contract covers flood mitigation works on the public and private property, on the eastern banks of the Raumanga Stream, adjacent to Woods Road. The works including the construction of 48m of retaining wall and 113m of flood wall.
The Contract Works include (but are not limited to) the supply of all labour, plant, materials and equipment for the construction / completion of the works described in the drawings, specification and enclosed schedule, described in brief below:
(i)Customer Service and management, establishment and compliance with all health and safety requirements of this document and provisions for temporary stabilisation during extreme rainfall event;
(ii)Demolition of derelict building and removal of site debris nominated in the pricing drawings and enclosed schedule;
(iii)Construction of new retaining wall nominated in the pricing drawings and enclosed schedule;
(iv)Construction of new flood mitigation wall nominated in the pricing drawings and enclosed schedule;
(v)Other works as specified.
