Nelson Hospital has two chillers providing centralised chilled water for a cooling ring-main.
This project involves the replacement of a chiller and two cooling towers.
Two chillers are onsite, consisting of chiller one, a nominal 220kW machine installed in the 1990’s being replaced by a larger capacity machine and chiller two, a nominal 890kW chiller installed in 2001.
Chiller one, the cooling tower serving Chiller one and the cooling tower serving Chiller two are to be replaced in this project
