Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) plans to undertake a major redevelopment of its Nelson Hospital site, taking a 20-30 year view of the community's need for healthcare services.
NMH is currently working with the Hunter Group to develop the first stage of the Treasury Better Business Case requirements, which is the Strategic Assessment.
This RFP invites proposals from suitably qualified respondents to:
a) Lead the development of future models of healthcare that will optimise what healthcare is delivered in the community and what is delivered in the hospital, and will therefore optimise the size of the future hospital development (health planning).
b) Work with us to implement agreed to model of care changes ahead of the hospital redevelopment.
c) Produce the remaining three business cases to be written over the next two years, per The Treasury's Better Business Case (BBC) requirements, specifically: Indicative Business Case; Detailed Business Case; and Implementation Business Case.
d) Manage an overall process whereby the relevant expertise is supplied or procured to produce an overall suite of cases which incorporate the health planning and facility requirements.
