NIWA is in the process of planning the redevelopment of its site at Greta Point in Wellington and is seeking the services of a contractor to provide temporary buildings (approx. 2 years) for specialist fitout by other parties, to enable science staff to stay at Greta Point while other parts of the site are being redeveloped. The temporary buildings are to be used as laboratories and the contractor will be expected to provide assistance to the design team in finalising the design of each building, for platforms, steps, ramps, handrails and covered-way weather-protection between buildings, and input into services reticulation to and from these buildings.
This is an opportunity to supply a number of temporary buildings and facilities, including modifications to standard temporary buildings as required for NIWA to complete their laboratory fitout.
