Overview

ARTO Architects, acting on behalf of NIWA are seeking interest from suitably qualified Main Contractors to construct a new office and storage building at the Scion Innovation Park, Park Sala Street, Rotorua. The proposed facility comprises a single storey building of approx. 230 m2 of offices/workshops/staff facilities and 250m2 of garage/storage space with parking, driveway, perimeter fencing and landscaping. Construction is expected to start in November 2017 and completed by May 2018. Tender documents are planned to be issues in August 2017. Tenders will be assessed on price and non-price attributes.

NIWA is looking for contractors who have a proven track record and experience in constructing similar commercial buildings. Contractors must have the capability to deliver the project on time, meet all customer needs and legal safety requirements. We do not want proposals for alternative locations, designs or properties to lease.
