Overview

The Georges Drive SWPS is located on the Tutaekuri riverbed at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Georges Drive. The scope of the electrical works has been completed by GHD and compiled into a report, (Refer to “C2689 Georges Drive SWPS Electrical Upgrade Scope of Work ”) attached with the
RFP supporting documentation. The stormwater pump station is designed to handle large volumes of water during rain events; however, due to Napier’s low-lying nature, it also operates periodically throughout the year, including during summer months.
The scope of works for this RFP is identified as electrical, mechanical and structural upgrades at the Georges Drive Stormwater pump station (SWPS). This follows the onsite condition assessment and the commissioned scope of work provided by GHD. This work will need to be undertaken by coordinating
with the NCC Stormwater Operations team for access and shutdowns/isolations in order to undertake this works

We are seeking a Respondent who has the required Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls (IEC), mechanical and structural capability coupled with the management skills/experience/qualifications to complete the works outlined in the scope in accordance with Good Industry Practice. This includes an
ability and track record of working to a Contract programme, performing high quality work, delivering timely, accurate and effective reporting and working safely.
