Overview

Napier City Council is seeking to engage a suitably experienced and qualified main contractor to undertake comprehensive weathertightness remediation works at the Taradale Library, located in Napier. This Request for Tender (RFT) outlines the scope of works required to address the existing weathertightness issues, which have been identified as significant and requiring timely intervention to prevent ongoing and future deterioration of the building.

The Taradale Library is a key community facility, and the successful completion of these remediation works is critical to ensuring the long-term durability, safety, and functionality of the building. The selected contractor will be required to deliver a high-quality outcome in accordance with the detailed specifications, drawings, and project requirements provided in the tender documentation.

Contractors are expected to demonstrate relevant experience in similar remediation projects and must have the capability to manage the works efficiently while minimising disruption to library operations and the surrounding community.

Please submit your RFT using the response form provided by 4pm on 25 November.

All questions in relation to the RFT must be submitted via the GETS Q&A function prior to 2pm 19 November.
