The Napier Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a vital element in our overall commitment to looking
after our three waters: wastewater, stormwater, and drinking water. The buildings at the Napier
Wastewater Treatment Plant have all been affected by the flood following Cyclone Gabrielle in February
2023. A building condition assessment and repair methodology has been completed, which has
highlighted the requirement for recovery works to be undertaken to restore the WWTP buildings to their
previous states. We require a competent Supplier to carry out these building repairs.
Scope of works includes but not limited to:
• Demolition works
• Remove and replace timber joinery
• Remove, clean and reinstate ground level aluminium joinery
• Repair cracked and loose plaster and sealant on precast concrete panels
• Remove damaged acrylic linings etc.
• Repair of concrete
• Repair of structural steel finishing
• Repair of roof
• Painting
