The Water Air Valves Renewals project is essential to maintaining the integrity and safety of Napier City Council's potable water supply. The need for this project arises from the current condition of the existing air valves, which are at risk of causing contamination due to their placement below flood levels. Upgrading these valves is critical to the broader safety improvement plan, which aims to enhance infrastructure resilience and comply with updated safety codes.

The scope is to relocate/replace the valve to above ground as per design drawings.
