Napier City Council would like to advise that this RFP has been cancelled. The ongoing impact of Cyclone Gabrielle has required Napier City Council to review and reprioritise funding through the Long-Term Planning process. This tender will be placed on hold until this process is concluded, and funding is confirmed.
Napier City Council is seeking design services for the urban realm surrounding a new Waka Hub and Waka Pavilion at the Iron Pot in Ahuriri. This exciting project will not only establish the first purpose-built Waka mooring for ocean-going Waka in New Zealand’s North Island, it will also provide a world class public space that showcases celestial navigation and its cultural significance to Aotearoa.
