Nelson City Council has been carrying out residents’ surveys to measure satisfaction with Council work since 1997. The purpose of the survey is to provide Council with impartial and representative information on resident satisfaction levels and help gauge how well the community supports Council direction and priorities. The results are used to inform how the Council delivers services. Results from some questions in the survey are used to measure performance for Long Term Plan or activity management plans levels of service.

We are seeking a provider to undertake a survey and analyse results, measure trends, identify opportunities for improving satisfaction and performance, and compare performance with other councils.
