Overview

This Contract is for weed and vegetation control in streets, accessways, service lanes and carparks, including shopping areas, within Nelson City for a period of three years. This includes weed and vegetation control, vegetation cutting and mowing.
There is the possibility of two, one year extensions.
The Principal has a quality driven approach to its maintenance and construction contracts. In keeping with this philosophy, Contractors are expected to achieve the highest standard of performance on all aspects of this contract.
Tenderers are asked to take particular note of the Contractor’s Deliverables included in the Contract Specifications for approval by the Principal.
Contractor testing will be carried out to ensure that quality standards and specification requirements are achieved.
The Nelson City Council shall undertake the contract management of this contract.
