1. Purpose
1.1. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is the selection of a party with whom Nelson City Council (Council) may negotiate an agreement for sale or lease of the “Civic House - State Advances” buildings, Trafalgar Street.
1.2. The Council buildings at 110 Trafalgar Street known as “Civic House – State Advances” (including the “Civic House – Infill Building”) are within scope for this RFP.
1.3. Council invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the development or utilisation of the buildings as described in Part B (Scope) of this RFP.
1.4. Council welcomes innovation in proposals which may vary from the requirements described; in order to assess such proposals all responses must refer specifically to the requirements described and whether these are met or varied.
